I learned that Patek Philippe watches are known for holding their value, and sometimes they even go up in price. But it’s not a sure thing – it depends on things like how many were made, if it’s a special model, and if people want to buy it.
Is it worth it?
Honestly, that’s up to you. For me, it was more about the challenge and the fun of making something cool. Would I wear my remake out and about? Maybe, maybe not. But it’s definitely a conversation starter, and it taught me a lot about watchmaking and the world of luxury watches.
