That OMEGA Speedmaster, they call it Moonwatch, you know? My grandson, he’s always talking ’bout it. Says it’s a real fancy thing. I saw a picture, it looks alright, I guess. Lots of little circles on it, like the face of a bug, but shiny.
They say it’s gone to the moon, this watch. Can you believe that? Up in the sky, with the stars and all that. Seems a bit silly to me, sending a watch to the moon. But what do I know? I just know my old clock keeps good time, and it ain’t never been further than the kitchen wall.
Now, this copy OMEGA, that’s what I heard them talking about. Seems like folks are making fake ones. Trying to trick people, that’s what it is. Bad business, I tell ya. They say the real one, it’s heavy, like a good, solid piece of metal. This fake one is light, they say, just 29 grams. My old iron weighs more than that!
The real one, this Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, it’s got these little numbers on the outside, they call it… tacy… tackymeter? Something like that. Supposed to be all neat and lined up, like rows of corn in the field. But on the fake ones, they’re all crooked, like a drunk man trying to walk a straight line. That how you can tell, they say.

This new one, this Speedmaster Moonwatch 2021, it’s supposed to be even better. Faster, stronger, like a young buck. But it still looks like the old one. Kinda like my grandson, all grown up now, but still got his mama’s eyes. They say this is good for searching on the computer. They put that Speedmaster Moonwatch 2021 in the computer and all sort of things pop up. I don’t understand it but it is good.
They say these OMEGA watches, they are good for investment. Just like that old lady down the street that save up all her pennies. She bought a lot of land back when it was cheap. Now it’s worth more than all get out. This is kind of like that. Buy this watch and maybe someday it will be worth a lot of money.

Then put in “classic style” and you will see all the old ones. That’s what they say. My grandson, he showed me. He is good with that computer. He can find anything on that thing.
