You see, this bag, they call it Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Mini-Bag. What a mouthful! Sounds fancy, don’t it? I saw it online, they got a whole online store for it. Prada, Prada, that’s the big name. Like, everyone knows that name, you know? If you got the money, you want that Prada name, I guess. It’s for them rich folks, ain’t it? This little bag, it’s for them, not for me. I wouldn’t know what to do with such a thing.
This bag, it ain’t big. They call it “mini,” so you know it’s small. Like, maybe you can fit your phone in there, and some money, some lipstick, you know. But not much else. It ain’t for carrying groceries, that’s for sure. It is just for showing off, I reckon. People like to show off what they got, especially when they paid a lot.
They say it’s made of some special leather. Saffiano, they call it. Sounds like a fancy word for cowhide to me. They say it’s real leather, not that fake stuff, real calfskin. If you buy one of these bags, you gotta take care of it. Don’t just throw it anywhere. They say you gotta keep it in a cool, dry place. Out of the sun. The sun can do a number on things, make ’em fade and crack. And they give you a special bag to put it in, a dust bag. To keep the dust off. ‘Cause you don’t want your fancy bag getting all dusty. And they say to stuff it with paper, some special kind of paper, so it keeps its shape. ‘Cause you don’t want it to get all squished and out of shape, I guess.

I guess it means it’ll always be in style, it will be popular. ‘Cause some things are popular for a little while, then they ain’t popular no more. But this bag, they say it’ll always be popular. It is a classic bag, I guess that’s what they mean. If you got one, they say you’re supposed to keep it nice. I reckon it is like when I keep my good dress in the closet and only wear it on Sundays. It is a special occasion type thing.
